VACANCY: Sales/Marketing Manager

Sales/Marketing Manager: reporting to the MD/CEO, the Sales/Marketing Manager will be primarily responsible for:

  • Selling company’s products and services across a wide sector of industries;
  • Proffering solutions to potential clients based on their current needs;
  • Improving brand visibility;
  • Assisting with budgets, operational sales plans, and tactics to promote sales revenues;
  • Managing a platform for reports of sales and customer contacts;
  • Gathering feedback from customers or prospects;
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities;
  • Staying abreast with the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops and maintaining personal and professional networks;
  • Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs;
  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media marketing;
  • Promoting and maintaining excellent relationships with existing customers, providing after-sales support to ensure customers’ retention;
  • Meeting with customers and prospects to deliver presentations on business proposals
  • Promoting the company’s image and representing the company in industry matters
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry standards, developments, trends, and activities
  • Handling and developing content for our social media platforms;
  • Ensures content on our website is up-to-date
  • Developing content for the periodic newsletter; and
  • Any other assignment as dictated by Supervisors.

Qualification, Attributes, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field with a minimum of Second Class Lower
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive working experience in marketing, sales, or related field
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills
  • Social media management skills and content writing
  • Knowledge of data analysis and report writing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with management, customers/partner organizations
  • Good negotiation skill
